About Hannah
Hannah Little is a Vermont-raised writer, speaker, editor, and workshop facilitator based in Rhode Island. She is an alumna of several writers' programs, including the New England Young Writers' Conference at Bread Loaf and the New York State Summer Writers' Institute at Skidmore College. She studied creative writing, editing, and arts management at Roger Williams University.
She served as an editor of Mount Hope Literary Magazine for several years, was the assistant editor of a book published by University of New Orleans Press, and the primary editor of the independently published book A Unifying Blend. Her first collection of poetry, The Garden I Make, was published in 2025.

Hannah's work primarily focuses on healing, growth, and self-awareness. In 2025, thanks to a mini grant from RI Humanities, she launched her workshop program, Write to Grow, with a special focus on older adults living in senior care facilities. The program's tagline, "Write to Grow, Grow for Life," is a nod to her belief that none of us are ever done learning or growing. From her poetry to speaking and workshop events, Hannah seeks to encourage everyone, regardless of age, to turn inward with courage and intention.

Hannah's Story
Hannah has been on a path of recovery from several self-defeating patterns since she was 20 years old, when her first heartbreak and the loss of many mutual friends catapulted her into the most challenging period of her life so far. Through talk therapy, EMDR, a mindfulness practice, support groups, and lots of reading, she has been unpacking her complex PTSD, perfectionism, relational insecurity, and tendency toward control. Now, Hannah uses her passion for writing and teaching to share the tools she's gained on this journey with people of all ages. She believes none of us are ever done growing, and she hopes her work may help nurture seeds of growth in others.
